Biography
Dr. Shailender Bamal is a consultant in all aspects of Anaesthesia, Critical Care, and Interventional Pain Medicine at WeCare Multispeciality & Cancer Hospital, Rohtak.

He has an MBBS and an MD in Anaesthesia & Critical Care. Early in Dr. Bamal's career, he spent his years performing complex surgeries, attending to critical emergencies, and managing advanced airway and ventilator management across operating theatres or intensive care units. These experiences gave Dr. Bamal a unique confidence and competence to maintain patient safety and perform precise procedures, targeting pain directly at its source using image-guidance.

Today, Dr. Bamal's work is dedicated to treating patients afflicted by chronic pain conditions. The bulk of his focus is in providing interventions that treat chronic back, neck or joint pain as well as nerve pain and pain associated with cancer.

Currently, he provides a variety of minimally invasive treatments to manage chronic pain, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, facet injections, radiofrequency ablation, and advanced ultrasound-guided procedures.
Each plan is personalized to the patient’s needs and focuses on providing sufficient pain relief without requiring surgery or reliance on opioids via a blended together approach using interventions, medications, and rehabilitation if necessary.
Dr. Bamal has a sincere dedication to working with patients with cancer pain and post-surgical or post-ICU pain syndromes. His original training in critical care means that he can often provide treatment for patients that are high risk regarding safety and comfort.

Dr Shailender is involved in leading pain societies and strives to be consistent with international standards in pain management. His consultations are uncomplicated: simple explanations, simple expectations, and a simple plan. He takes care of the young professional with sciatica and the elderly with knee arthritis and his goal is always the same; to restore movement, confidence, and quality of life.
Externally to the clinic, he works on articles and patient education resources to provide ease of access to pain medicine for the consumer and ease of application for referring physicians.
